Online Exhibition Coming Soon
New online exhibition featuring work from Tundergarth primary school to be launched early June!
Over the years Dryfesdale Lodge has hosted a number of fascinating temporary exhibitions along side our memorial and local history displays. But having closed at the end of the 2019 summer season and not having had a chance to reopen since, due to covid and now a major refurbishment project at the lodge, we have not any temporary exhibitions to share.
However, this is about to change and we have an exciting partnership to announce with Tundergarth primary school. Tundergarth is located just a few miles outside of Lockerbie and their parish church contains a second memorial to the victims of Pan Am flight 103, but that is not the focus of this partnership (not this time at least). This time we are celebrating Tundergarth and learning about the dragon that features on the schools crest. All the research, art work and storytelling of this exhibition has been carried out by the pupils and we are delighted to be able to help digitise their exhibition and share it with a wide audience.
Keep checking our events posts for more information and look out on our local history Annandale page for a link to the online exhibition starting in June 2021!
